CAR SECURITY

The security of your car and its contents is your own responsibility and you will find very few establishments that will accept responsibility. Simple precautions will assist you, such as not leaving any valuables on display in your car etc.

At each place we stay we endeavour to arrange parking that is as secure as possible. However, locked garage accommodation will rarely be available and instead, in most cases secure parking will consist of off road parking in a hotel car park. Clearly, whenever available we will try and secure locked accommodation, CCTV surveillance and lighted areas, but this may not always be available.

CAR INSURANCE

The owner of each vehicle is solely responsible for arranging insurance for his car and Dettaglio can not accept responsibility for the consequences of failing to have in place the appropriate car insurance. We would remind you that:

• Some insurers will require several days advance notification
• Some insurers insist that you carry a Green Card
• Additional drivers will need to be added to your insurance policy
• Your policy may not cover you for track use and additional cover will be required
• Your insurance policy may be invalidated if you do not comply with the Legal Requirements for each country you visit
• You need to bring your insurance papers with you on the holiday and have them available for inspection at all times

HEALTH INSURANCE

Each customer is solely responsible for arranging their own health and public liability insurance and Dettaglio can not accept responsibility for the consequences of failing to have in place the appropriate health insurance. We would remind you to check:

• The terms of your personal health cover in light of the holiday you will be undertaking, especially where circuit time is included
• The availability of European health cover (UK residents can use the E111 scheme through their local Post Office)
• The terms of any bonus health cover provided by, say, your bank account (e.g. Barclays Premier customers)

OTHER INSURANCE

The need or availability of any other insurance products is the sole responsibility of each customer and Dettaglio can not accept responsibility for the consequences of failing to have in place the appropriate insurance.
