driving, breakdowns and accidents will and do happen.
Each owner is solely responsible for the maintenance and roadworthiness
of his own car and each driver is likewise responsible for his/her
driving.
BREAKDOWNS
To take the most of the sting out of a breakdown, we recommend
that you:
- have your car thoroughly serviced and prepared by your preferred
dealer/garage before departure
- purchase European breakdown and recovery insurance which provides
alternative vehicle use should your car not be capable of being
immediately repaired, as well as vehicle repatriation
- call the Dettaglio back-up vehicle with your exact location
- provided it is in the vicinity, we will endeavour to help as
best we can
ACCIDENTS (INCLUDING ILLNESS)
To cater for the unfortunate event of an accident or someone falling
ill, we recommend that you:
- ensure you have relevant health insurance cover including repatriation
before you depart
- call the relevant emergency service
- call the Dettaglio back-up vehicle or personnel - we will endeavour
to help as best we can
