We have available some
Garmin Streetpilot III Satellite Navigation units available for
hire by customers. These units are particularly useful as they avoid
the need to juggle plans and directions and have a particularly
useful "get me to destination" function to ensure you
don't get lost. Having used these systems many times, we can personally
vouch that they are highly effective guides.
Each unit has the
following features:
- it is compact, yet is easy to read
- all maps are in colour
- there is the option of simultaneous voice prompted directions
- you can choose mapped, written or voice prompted directions
- or all three at once
- easy to use controls
Each unit
is supplied with:
- a carry case
- an in-car adapter which plugs into the cigarette lighter
- a dashboard mount
- a FAQ sheet setting out easy to understand operating instructions
- additional chips (where necessary) with all necessary plans
pre-loaded
- all routes and destinations pre-loaded
