Many of our
clients have substantial family commitments which prevent them from
taking too much time out of the country to enjoy some driving.
As a consequence,
we have introduced a variety of products that allow you to enjoy
some of the fabulous driving on offer in Europe, even if you
are short on time.
Please
note: If none of the places we have picked, or the hotels
or timeframes suit your requirements, please contact us as we would
be delighted to help in any way we can.
FRANCE
- Rich in culture and some of the most picturesque landscapes in
Europe, France is an ideal destination if you are short on time.
The Eurotunnel crossing only takes 35
minutes and with several crossings a day, you can be in France with
the minimum of fuss and at a time that suits your schedule. Within
2 hours of leaving Calais, you could be relaxing on a terrace with
a drink in your hand either overlooking the ocean, or charming parkland
and vineyards in Champagne country.
GERMANY
- From the Mosel wine valley and the Eiffel
mountains to the lustrous Black Forest
and the Rhine Valley, Germany
has much to offer even if you are constrained by time. Within 6
hours, you can be in the Black Forest
in one of our favourite hotels enjoying breathtaking views over
the Rhine. The Nurburgring
is 4 hours from Calais with the vibrant
City of Cologne nearby. There is a large
selection of things to see and do whether you are into gastronomy,
motorsport, wine or culture.
ITALY
- Home to the supercar industry, notably Ferrari,
Lamborghini, Maserati
and Pagani, as well as some of the most
beautiful driving in Europe, Italy is also renowned for its excellent
food and quality wine. Often overlooked, Bologna
(or La Grassa) is a haven for gastronomic
food and is the perfect base for exploring nearby Venice,
Lake Garda, Florence
and the Amalfi coast. Alternatively, we
recommend Milan, situated about one hour
from Lake Como and the foothills of the
Italian Alps.
MONACO
- For the more adventurous, Monaco is
just under 2 hours away from London by
plane. Choose from one of our hotels located in the centre of Monaco
or the stunning setting of St Paul de Vence.
The Alpes Maritimes are on your doorstep
allowing you to retrace some of the fabulous roads used in the Monte
Carlo Rally in years gone by as well as the opening sequences of
the James Bond film, Goldeneye.
